"Big oil" has always hated the biofuels, aka corn ethanol, mandate. They want *all* the fuel revenue going in their pocket. They don't want to share it with farmers and ethanol producers.

Ta Da! Lots of opaque terminology in these articles, but the impact is clearly stated.
