I have a different view. I don’t think there’s an “actual want” because I believe he has no idea what he’s doing, how it might go, how it might end, or what the outcome should be or even could be. He has thought this through as well as my cat has, or perhaps less.
This operation is different than his tariff wars and military adventures in Latin America, because he isn't in charge, on this one.
In spite of USian media silence on the subject, there is significant evidence that Epstein was running a honey pot for Mossad. It has been suggested by others that Trump has been his most bellicose about Iran, right after a visit by "Bibi", and "Bibi" has visited 6 times since Trump became POTUS. If Trump is not entirely running afraid of what Mossad has on him, he is certainly influenced by the hundreds of millions of dollars thrown at him by the Israel lobby.
