I think it was on the METaR board, here, that I posted a summation of a point of view I saw offered on the Yahoo Finance channel, a week or so ago: that "JCs" were going to "create" fewer jobs going forward, because, between boomers retiring, mass deportations, closed border, work visa denials, and the government looking for excuses to deport people already here on visas, the "JCs" know there is no-one to fill more jobs, if they were created, so "creating" more jobs, would be pointless.

If she is right, then lower job "creation" will not result in higher unemployment.

Lots of interesting graphs in this piece from bubblevion's site. Especially the graph of the unemployment rate. While headlines today are screaming "unemployment up", look at the graph. Unemployment has essentially flatlined, over the past year. Today's print for August is 4.3%. The print for July of last year was 4.3%
