assist Federal, State, and local law enforcement in quelling civil disturbances and ensuring the public safety and order whenever the circumstances necessitate, as appropriate under law.

Except they've shown us, demonstrated that "quelling civil disturbances and ensuring public safety" means whatever they wish it to at the moment. Expect them to be unreasonably deployed during the 2026 election. I'm going to get me a truck load of mail in ballot applications and march through the Dem communities - Steve Miller will declare me Antifa and the next thing I know I'll be in CECOT. MAGA has no respect for the law or any treaties.
