"The use of that word, "We" apparently establishes you as a member of the elite, apart and above "them".

"Them" are those who have many opinions that differ from the "we" club. "Them" who are ill-informed, un-educated, easily exploited and who lack the immense insights enjoyed by the "We".

Peter Strozk characterized "Them" as "smelly Walmart people". Hillary referred to "Them" as "a basket of deplorables". Either way, the "Them" in this country should just shut up, and obey their betters, right? One party rule would be a paradise."

That isn't anywhere near what he said or implied, but it sounds like insecurity to me.
