You guys need some consistency.
Trump is a War Criminal for striking Iran.
Trump is a total chicken for not striking Iran.
No inconsistency there.
The former points out that certain types of attacks that Trump has alluded to the U.S. performing were to be carried out the way he described them, they would be war crimes. If Trump were to "end Iranian civilization" or destroy every power plant in Iran, that would be a war crime.
The second is pointing out that Trump often shies from carrying out his threats. He threatened a major military attack (war crime or not) that was going to happen tonight if Iran didn't capitulate by 8:00. He has now backed of that threat, based on: i) the 10-point plan that they've had since Monday and which he had already rejected; and ii) Iran completely opening up the Strait, which apparently they have not agreed to (parsing his Truth Social grammar is often a fool's errand, but this is written as if it were yet to be agreed to).
IOW, Iran hasn't moved from where they were previously - but Trump has backed off the "civilization-ending" military operation.
