this is worth repeating.
i guess like the russian drones that 'got lost' on the other side of ukraine, 3 russian jets needed 12 minutes to get the kinks out of their AAA maps. after snowflaking regarding late-night comedy, prez shinsplints went livid on this military incident : ' i dont love it'.

we should see informal restructuring that cuts america out of the loop for future actions (including when trump will inevitably want free favors).

Remember what the Russians have done, when anyone got close tho their airspace.

Korean Air Lines Flight 007 (KE007/KAL007)[note 2] was a scheduled Korean Air Lines flight from New York City to Seoul via Anchorage, Alaska. On September 1, 1983, the flight was shot down by a Soviet Sukhoi Su-15TM Flagon-F interceptor aircraft.

iirc, radio traffic between the interceptor and his ground control was picked up. He was flying below and behind the airliner, so the 74 drivers couldn't see him. He reported it was an airliner, with the navigation lights on.
