Oil flows in the last week of September exceeded pre-war. The picture gets better once you realize that Iran is contributing zero oil:
Great! And all it took to get back to where we were before the war were the deaths of 19 U.S. service members (that’s the official number, a Washington Post investigation reports a slightly higher number), 861 wounded U.S. service members, and at least $45 billion (and counting) of our hard earned tax dollars. And no, the $45 billion doesn’t include kickbacks to the Trump family. Oh, and we pissed off about every country in the Middle East.
Not sure the family members of the dead and wounded U.S. servicemen members would call that much of a win.
I think the official military term for it is clusterfuck.
