The 2025 US peach crop is starting to be harvested (~Memorial Day to Labor Day), and the expectations are a great yield. Just saw canned peach prices were up 10% at Walmart, but that may be due to imports being used to fill 2024 US-grown peach shortages. No idea if peach prices will fall or not this year.

Fun fact: Majority of US peach crop is picked by hand. What we do not know is how many of the migrant pickers will actually be available to pick peaches when needed. If ICE is there, then few/no peaches picked. Then what? Good question....

Pears are a later-summer crop, so too early to comment on them yet.
