The U.S. Treasury had to borrow over $2 trillion in 2026 so far.

PCE inflation was still elevated, 3.7% last month, almost double the Fed's target.

And...
Q2 2026 GDP growth was down to 1.5% according to the second estimate released this morning.

Remember when our republican friends used to pretend to care about the national debt? I'm glad they dropped that ridiculous act.
