Sure, but I don't think Trump gives a rat's patoot what Bibi wants. He's a super-transactional guy. Bibi's useful to him, so he certainly is willing to accommodate to a point - and he wants a Gaza Nobel Prize. But that and a dime will buy you a cup of coffee, if you were in 1930.
Agree that Trump is a "JC", always on the lookout for himself, and willing to step on anyone to advance his interests. He said out loud that he started the war for the benefit of, first, Israel, then a handful of other rich gulf states. Advancing Israel's interests plays well in Congress, and with the US media. It's only the MAGA rank and file that are chafing "we elected him to put America first, not Israel first", but what Proles say is meaningless, now that they voted him back into power. Take, for example, the puzzlewit who topped Massie in the primary yesterday. "We The People", will pay him $174,000/year to represent the people of his district in Kentucky. The Israel lobby paid him $16M. Who is he going to be working for? Why isn't he required to register as a foreign agent?
But, as soon as Trump got what he wanted from "Bibi", the "doing it for Israel" cover story, he threw "Bibi" under the bus, and started working his agenda of stalemate, to keep the Strait closed.
As suggested before, we will have a more clear view in six months, or a year.
