A little May 17 'No Kings' protest on the Central Coast of CA drew about 250 local folks.
I read on 'Nextdoor' that social media Rachel Maddow gave us recognition. That opened the floodgates to comments from across the state, folks are focused on one man's very prominent sign: a large red sign with a swastika half covered by Trump's signature comb-over hair symbol.
The comments mostly focused on the swastika-wearing Trump combover.
Anti---Why is there a swatstika? That’s not necessary
Anti---No matter what the intentions were, displaying the swastika crosses a line. It discredits the entire gathering and the cause for which they are protesting. Disgusting.
Pro---Republicans in Charlottesville VA, 2017. Where was the outrage then?
Pro--- A swastika with a Trump hairdo. Cuz that’s the message. NO KINGS!
Anti---the red sign with the black swastika was all people saw that drove by. Believe me; it was gross.
Pro---it is Gross! Trump is following the same playbook. So it is an educational reminder, to not let history to repeat. Remember Dachau: “Never Again!”Obviously I side with the guy who made the poster: It's a valid graphic warning that Trump, his staff and cabinet are rapidly advancing fascism.
