However, the government, as Jamie Dimon shared, is basically wasteful and incompetent.

Completely disagree.

Just like any large organization, there is bound to be some waste and some incompetence. That goes for Intel, McDonald's, government, the military, Costco, or any other large entity you care to name. But the vast majority of all of them are staffed with employees trying to do their jobs with professionalism to the best of their abilities.

And, unlike most companies, government has suffered your mischaracterization for so long that they are chronically under-staffed. Firing people will just make it worse. We need to staff-up our government. By a lot. Even more, now that Chainsaw Musk is -often times illegally- firing everyone.
