I'll say one more time that every one of you needs to move to your nearest blue city. You people would all be voting Republican in a nanosecond afterwards.

I live in the country now, but lived in blue cities for a large portion of my life- blue cities in blue states and blue cities in red states. And much of that time was spent in poorer areas.

The picture that Trump and right wing media paints of big cities is a false one.

Are there some areas where caution is advised? Of course. Always has been and probably always will be. As long as there is poverty, there is going to be crime.

Trump’s plan for blue cities will make things immeasurably worse.

Which is the point.

Trump wants to provoke a confrontation. He’ll probably succeed, and that in turn will give him his excuse to further strengthen his police state power grab.
