Yes, Clinton was immensely talented candidate. Yes, HW was out of touch and oozed it. Those two things were a huge part in HW's loss. BUT......
HW and Jimmy Baker spoke tough on Israel. Lambasted the settlements. Even wanted to tie aid to behavior vis a vis settlements. It's curious how interest rates didn't come down in time for it to be truly felt - and Bush lost.
Also curious how the rates came down a bit too late for Papa Bush - BUT. the GDP was growing nicely the day Clinton was sworn in.
Please Conservatives, don't kill our soldiers, don't kill our movement --for entities that merely use us - and spit on us when they aren't holding their nose and cheering *one* book off the New Testament.
