Based on news reports I heard yesterday, it seems like they were waiting for a good place to bring it down "softly" so they could take it to the lab to determine the extent of the technology used. If China is going to send us a balloon we should at least use our resources to analyze it. For some reason, it seems like there is a group of conservatives that don't trust our military. This was just a matter of the president delegating to experts, which may seem strange to the followers of "a very stable genius", who seemed to have his own answers to many questions. I don't give Biden any credit, or responsibility here.
