I did like his closed southern border.
Except it wasn't closed, not even close.
But I have been wondering, with all of the various countries in the world, Europe, Asia, are there *any* which have a completely sealed border?
There have been walls through history, of course, the Great Chinese Wall which eventually fell to invaders, and Hadrian's Wall between what is now Great Britain and Scotland, but that was barely 4 feet tall and pretty useless.
And there was the Berlin Wall we're all familiar with, although that ringed just a city (and didn't last half a century).
But my question is, except for natural barriers (Britain is an island, largely impassible rivers or mountain ranges, etc.) are there countries which have a continuous, solid wall between them, or do they rely on checkpoints on major roads and surveillance of other, more remote areas? Does anybody here know?
