You want to discuss Trump and only Trump. I'd rather discuss the state of NATO readiness in the context of the global partnership. But every other board participants wants to...reduce the entire issue to Trump.

When it comes to NATO it IS all about Trump. He is single handedly deciding the fate of the global partnership, by destroying it. He has decided to halt all military aid to Ukraine, leaving it all to the Europeans. He has threatened Greenland, a NATO ally, with invasion. He has launched economic war against Canada, a NATO member and our closest ally. And just two days ago he picked a fight with Britain over Northern Ireland. He’s shredding NATO to pieces. He does it all by himself, ignoring all advice, primarily at the direction of his mentor Vladimir Putin. The only thing determining NATO’s readiness are the midnight tweets from Donald and Natalie, and the chaos we wake up to in the morning.
