Biden sure blew the answer to that question. I have no idea why Stephanopoulos didn't follow up by asking Biden if he thought that his own desire to prove he wasn't a quitter and to "do a good job" was more important than preserving Democracy, The Constitution and the rule of law in America for the next 50 years.
