Sorry, but you’re now allowed to feign offense given the rhetoric you’ve chosen to use (Nazihitlerhierhierhitler) lately.
If you don’t want to be called a fascist, stop being a fascist.
Stop fluttering your eyelids when you see a photo of Kristi Noem dressed up like the Beast of Belsen, standing in front of a cage full of prisoners in a Salvadoran torture prison.
Stop cheering violence perpetrated by the regime, especially when that violence is gratuitous
Stop trying to promote the farthest fringes on the left as representative of “the left”, or “liberalism”
These are all characteristics of fascists.
Stop cheering the arrests/detention of Democratic lawmakers (in other words, stop cheering Trump’s game of physical intimidation) The goal is to beat the opposition into silence. Unfortunately for fascists, that never works; it only breeds more opposition and outrage (see “No Kings” 5 to 10 million people in the streets).
Stop using the fascist playbook, and nobody will call you a fascist. There’s still time to save your soul.
Not so much for Donald Trump. Unfortunately, he’s pretty much cooked himself.
