One of the first things Mr. Trump did when he took office the 2nd time was to pardon anyone and everyone that participated in January 6th insurrection.
Since January 6th, these criminals have, to no one’s surprise, committed even more crimes.
These crimes include violent threats and attacks including threatening to murder, assaulting law enforcement officers, and domestic violence by strangulation. Also, plotting to murder FBI agents, illegal possession of firearms, and possessing unregistered silencers. And as well, sexual offenses including predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. And just for grins and giggles, one was sentenced to life in prison for molesting two children. Another one was shot and killed by law enforcement during a traffic stop after resisting arrest while armed. And, just for the record, others offenses include driving under the influence (DUI) resulting in homicide, burglary, and violation of protective orders.
Obviously, Mr. Trump, who was found guilty of 34 felony counts by a jury of his peers, considers the January 6th pardons to be a professional courtesy.
