Now, Trump makes sure that airlines - IF cancellations are THE AIRLINE'S FAULT -- do not have to compensate the travelers.
A link to a report about that would be nice. Broadly, not a surprise. The next logical step from Bush 43's "unburdening" of airlines from liability for their foul-ups. Remember when people were being stuck on an airliner, on the ground, for hours? States started enacting "passenger's bill of rights". Bush decreed that, the moment the passenger's foot hits the plane, they are under federal regulation, not state or city, even if the plane is still on the ground, so beyond the reach of state laws, and Bush had no intention of "burdening" the airlines with a Federal "passenger's bill of rights".
