The most glaring recent example was Biden, after the debate performance. While some Democrats were quick to point out that his lack of facility was basically disqualifying for someone running for President, there were plenty of national Democrats (and his supporters in the rank and file) that rushed to his defense. They were completely minimizing his egregious flaws.
That might be a decent example, if only (following the rush of adrenaline) Democrats hadn’t stood up and demanded that he get out of the way. What did that take, a couple weeks? Meanwhile Trump has been quite literally tearing down the White House, the JFK Center, our relationship with Canada, NATO, starting a war, savaging government agencies, falsely accusing everyone of everything, selling crypto, and soiling his pants in public; it’s been going on for years and from Republicans there’s not a peep.
I think your attempt to be “fair and balanced” has capsized your ship.
