Normal Americans don't want
I'm not sure you really want to open up policy discussions here.
First off, you need to define "Normal Americans." I suspect we have very different interpretations of what that is.
Look at what the democrats do when you give them power.
Let's see.
Improve the economy:
-Get unemployment down to the lowest levels in a generation.
-Get the stock market to all time highs.
Improved the US Government finances:
-Slowed the growth in the US debt. (Trump added twice as much debt as Biden)
-Both cut the deficit, but Biden cut it by 5 times as much ($450 billion for Trump vs. $1.9 trillion for Biden.)
Foreign relations:
-Repaired relationships that were strained under Trump, such as with the EU, NATO, and WHO.
-Supported Ukraine after it was invaded by Russia
-Supported Israel after it was attacked by Hamas
It's also important to look at what Trump did when we gave him power.
-Cut taxes on the wealthy, resulting in larger budget deficits
-Denigrated scientists and experts, culminating in a poor response to a global pandemic
-Spread lies and misinformation in furtherance of his personal financial gain and accumulation of power
-Broke with over 230 years of tradition and refused to recognize his loss in the 2020 election
-Attempted to remain in power after losing an election by filing baseless court cases and spreading fabricated stories of voting irregularities
-Fomented a riot on the US Capitol, then took more than 3 hours to do even the slightest thing to stop it.
-Was impeached twice for his irresponsible use of the powers of the office of the President
-Took actions that have resulted in over 90 criminal charges against him in 4 different courts, with one (so far) resulting in felony convictions on all 34 counts in that case.
So yeah, let's compare Biden and Trump, shall we?
