Steve....
It's been awhile since I lived in Metro Detroit but I'd bet---- out of the sizable jewish population in the state....55-60% of that demographic votes Democratic.
And in a tribal, caste-sect society, tiny pockets of votes can make a difference because it's about the 1% win, NOT consensus any longer.
If it's a massive anti Trump wave then obviously Sayed wins. I dont know squat about Rogers so dunno if he's a good candidate.
BUT --I wonder if Democratic Jewish voters will behind the scenes come out for Rogers? I wonder how much quiet AIPAC money will be in play.
If a few candidates keep wining prominent office while loudly saying "I'm sick of being Israel's slave"---it's gonna start something new in American politics.
I gotta believe AIPAC and its cohorts know that --and won't let it happen without some sort of a fight?
I'm true to my word. I said-- that unlike Sheeple I don't get caught up in ancillary issues. "Blanche!" "Ballroom!" etc. I'm able to sacrifice most of what I want-in the the name of the BIG insurmountable goal in this case being, slowly seeing birth of a new politics, where our Ruling Class eventually won't be Israeli mules.
So while I'd be holding my nose, I'd say Sayed 2028.
Defund ICE? I don't give a shit -- if Sheeples want more tribalism, more polyglot, more mayhem - -shit, I hope they get it because they deserve it.
So for solely the Israel reason - -best of luck to Sayed. Will be interesting to see how Israel plays this one. Me? I'd fund a 3rd party Democrat and give it to Rogers but I dont foresee that happening this time.
