But what it will do is create questions and open the door for chaos

And into the chaos he will try again to overthrow the election. Same story, different chapter.

And if he fails… he will not go gently into the dark night.

He has nothing to lose.

Get that straight: he has nothing to lose by going for broke.


If he goes home, he’ll go to jail for crimes he’s already been indicted on, and in one case, already been convicted.

If he goes for broke and tries to force his way back to to the WhiteHouse, he probably thinks he has a chance of pulling it off. And if he fails, he goes to jail for any number of horribly sounding crimes, but I don’t believe we’d ever execute an ex-president.

Jeff Davis did far worse.
