Okay, finally a concrete fact. It didn't say go cut Medicaid off. Thank you.

Yes, it did say that. It said go freeze every federal assistance program, and Medicaid is a federal assistance program.

They screwed up, just not in the way you outline. They screwed up by giving the democrats/media/disgruntled federal employees a window to do the wink-and-a-nod-thing to turn off a vital program...and blame Trump for it. </ik>

They didn't give anyone a "window" - they drafted an order that mandated that every federal assistance program be frozen. Which would include Medicaid.
