The majority of people, who have insurance through their employer, or via Medicare, don't care about the minority that benefit from ACA "enhanced" subsidies, or Medicaid. The "supply side economics" sales pitch, for decades has been "let us take something away from someone you don't know, and maybe you will see a benefit".
