Why does this whole kerfuffle look like a (bad) answer in search of a problem? These people are so scared of a trans person and what he/she may do in some statistically tiny way! They sound like the same people who cross the street when they see a black man that may be approaching them from the opposite direction while walking on the sidewalk.
