Trump still disappointed in Putin: “He just doesn’t want to end the war”
U.S. President Donald Trump, during a meeting with Argentine President Javier Milei, said that Vladimir Putin “just doesn’t want” to end the fighting in Ukraine.
“I’m very disappointed because Vladimir and I had a very good relationship — and probably still do to this day. I don’t understand why he continues this war,” Trump said, adding that the Russian president could have ended the conflict long ago but chose not to.
Trump also said that the Russian economy is “collapsing” and that there are “long lines for gasoline” across the country.
