Yup. No money to make higher education affordable. No money to make health insurance affordable. But there is always money for wars to make the interests richer.

A comment on the news last night: if they push the supplemental through using "reconciliation", they would need to take the money away from something else in the budget. hmmm....what could that be? The duck says "programs that generally benefit Proles". More cuts to SNAP. More cuts to Medicaid. More cuts to public education. Complaining Proles will get another lecture on 'personal responsibility".

All this would really only matter, politically, if there were "free and fair" elections in the fall.
