That would put the goobers in a bind. They wouldn't want to accept a $1 bill in exchange for a $10 bill, but having the portrait of their God and savior might make it palatable.
Meanwhile, Tim used to mention on the Fool board, how Canada got rid of $1 bills: it simply quit making them. So, people have no choice but use the $1 and $2 coins.
$1 coins have been a failure in the US, both the "Susan B" and the "Sacagawea", but the Fed has continued to issue $1 paper bills.

The Treasury Department is considering minting a $1 coin bearing President Donald Trump’s likeness on both sides.
A first draft of that coin shows Trump’s head in profile on one side, above the words “IN GOD WE TRUST” and the dates 1776 and 2026.
