I think that $300B number is cumulative, since 1948. Annual aid is running about $3.8B/year.
But if Israel gets free access to everything the Pentagon is doing, what is that worth?
DoD R&D spending for 2027: $18.7B
DoD Intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance for 2027: $50B
Current Israeli defense budget, for all uses: $35B
Current Israeli GDP $720B
So, with that "research, network, and data sharing" agreement, that USian media does not want to report on, Israel will gain access to R&D and intelligence, that we USians paid for, equal to nearly double their annual defense budget, and nearly 10% of their GDP, for free, every year. Then, add in the cost, to the US, of R&D and intelligence being diverted away from the US' priorities, to Israeli priorities.
