That would explain the radio silence from the radical right.

One look at the guy's vehicle; full size pickup, two big USian flags, Iraq war vet plate = better than equal chance it is "one of us", so they stay mum. Not like the perp at the Catholic school a month ago, who was trans. But Lord Trump gets out in front, in a hurry, bellowing about the war on Christians. He'll probably soon flip the script and declare the perp a "disturbed individual", and find some way to twist it to blame his mental distress on "liberals".
