You might want to consider the possibility - just perhaps - that he might not be a person who deserves your support.

He might instead might be the sort of person who fills a job not by picking the person who's most qualified to do it, but instead by giving it to his kids or the most toadying loyalist in his sphere.

I mean, just sayin'. If you see him doing things you don't think a good leader would do, sometimes the simplest ex[planation is the right one....
