Bush approved nine satellite launches by China as a result of the Reagan policy or that Loral admited it gave the Chinese a written report about the cause of rocket failure during launch without official clearance. Ot that Pentagon officials said that the alleged harm to national security was "not significant or substantial ... about a one or two on a scale of ten."
As for Most Favored Nation status, the Senate vote was 83 YEAs, 15 NAYs, and 2 NOT VOTING. In the House the vote was 237 AYEs, 197 Nos, with 164 Republicans voting yes and 57 Democrats voting yes.
And fentanyl-related deaths have risen substantially in the past decade. The age-adjusted rate of overdose deaths increased by 31% from 2019 (21.6 per 100,000) to 2020 (28.3 per 100,000) during the Trump administration.
