It’s a shame that in the semiquincentennial celebration of our country’s creation, we won’t get to see Hamilton played in our nation’s capital thanks to an insecure, infantile, demented, sad excuse for a human being who thinks putting his name on a building makes him important.
It could still be performed at a venue in DC. Actually, it would make a statement to perform it at another D.C. venue; just not one bearing the name of a racist pedophile.
I have heard some folks talking about holding national honors events at the Dorothy Chandler or Hollywood Bowl (in Los Angeles) as long as the orange asshole is associated with the Kennedy Center in any way, shape or form. No reason it needs to be staged in D.C.
