You mean the ones that are willing to accept lower rates. So, no - you might not get to keep your doctor.
Lower than what? Once there's Medicare for All, there's no longer any alternative. That's how these things work. Single-payer. Monopsony. The government rate is the only one available - you accept it, or you don't get to be a doctor, for the most part. Oh, sure, there may end up being some small number that are only cash that are outside the system entirely - but not many, and many of those are already not taking insurance anyway. So if you can't afford to pay them cash today, you're already not seeing them.
So if one wants to be a doctor...they need to work for the government?
No - but if they want to be a doctor, they'll have to take the Medicare for All insurance.
