Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BF.A) (NYSE:BF.B) reported sales fell 7.3% year-over-year in FQ4 to $894 million. Sales were down 3% for the quarter that ended on April 30 on an organic basis. Gross profit was down 10% during the quarter. Operating income was down 45%. EPS was reported at $0.31 vs. $0.34 consensus and $0.56 a year ago.
Brown-Forman (NYSE:BF.A) (NYSE:BF.B) anticipates the operating environment for FY26 will be challenging, with low visibility due to macroeconomic and geopolitical volatility as the company faces headwinds from consumer uncertainty, the potential impact from currently unknown tariffs, and lower non-branded sales of used barrels. In terms of guidance, organic net sales are seen declining in the low-single digit range. Organic operating income is anticipated to decline in the low-single digit range.
