So sorry. DOW off 600 in the first hour as tariffs take effect. Mexico has announced it’s responding to Trump’s tariffs with 25% tariffs of its own, joining China and Canada who have already instituted them, so far mostly on food exports which will hit in western farmers the hardest. Poor babies! My sympathy extends all the way from A to B.

In addition to retaliatory tariffs, both Canada and China have indicated they will stop exporting critical products to the US. They know which products the US relies on, and they will stop sending them. It looks like the export bans will come from each individual province in Canada rather than from the federal government.
