HUGE NEWS: The U.S. economy shattered expectations and added 253K new jobs in April, far surpassing expectations of 185K.
The unemployment rate also dropped to 3.4%, defying expectations that it would rise to 3.6%.
Compare that with...
Trump's job creation record which was the worst of any American president on record,
no other modern president has left the U.S. with a smaller workforce than it had when they took office.
Since the government started keeping track in 1939.
All while adding $8 trillion in new debt in just 4 years.
No wonder even many repubicans think he's a joke...
"The amount he's added to the national debt is indecent." ~Mike Pompeo
"I hate him (Trump) passionately!" ~Tucker Carlson
"He's a &@#$ing moron!" ~Rex Tillerson
"We're on the verge of having someone take over the conservative movement who is a con artist." ~Marco Rubio
"Trump is utterly amoral. A serial philanderer." ~Ted Cruz

Here's an even easier comparison.
Leader of the democratic party:
Best 2 1/4 years of jobs growth in history with unemployment at a 54-year low of 3.4 percent. Plus another one-quarter million new jobs added in April.
Leader of the republican party:
On trial for rape, indicted by a Manhattan grand jury on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, and facing multiple criminal investigations for interference into the 2020 Georgia presidential election, his role in the efforts to overthrow the 2020 presidential election on January 6, mishandling of government records, obstruction of justice, money-laundering, and espionage.

Social Security benefits and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments increased by 8.7% beginning January 1, 2023. Inflation is running 4.98%.
BTW, the inflation rate in Canada is 4.3%, 5.2% in the Netherlands, 5.66 in India, 7% in Australia, 7.2% in Germany, and 10.1% in the UK.
No doubt Biden's fault too.

YaYa.... Trump pandemic job loses....Biden finally return to work gains.Hmmm......that needs some additional information that was just published toward the end of April. It's an objective assessment of how covid's arrival and progress were handled....or rather, in numerous critical ways, with some exceptions, MIShandled.....and was carried out by the same group that investigated and provided the official report on 9/11. The committee mobilized to do the same for the covid pandemic, but never received the go-ahead. So they did it on their own.
"Lessons from the COVID War: An Investigative Report" by the Covid Crisis Group. Their credentials are regarded as exceptional.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/04/24..."Their verdict: 'The leaders of the United States could not apply their country's vast assets effectively enough in practice.' "They conclude the pandemic was not an inescapable tragedy. The United States could and should have done better.... The United States started out 'with more capabilities than any other country in the world,' they note. But it ended up with 1 million dead. 'The Covid war is a story of how our wondrous scientific knowledge has run far, far ahead of the organized human ability to apply that knowledge in practice.... The administration abdicated its wartime responsibility to lead,' they add. 'It left the battlefield, and the war strategy' to the states and localities. By April, the White House chief of staff concluded the task force was 'useless and broken.'
There were so many many deaths that didn't have to be. An economic and jobs toll far worse than could have been. It wasn't that the covid-associated losses were unavoidable effects of the pandemic. It's that they were far worse than they would have been if those in charge had been motivated by facts and by concern for the populace rather than motivated far too much by politics and image.
So what Biden and his administration faced wasn't the unavoidable impact that the pandemic wrought, but the far greater impact due to Trump et al's grievous mishandling of the pandemic. The fact that Biden and his administration have been able to repair this extreme damage is quite a credit to them.

What hilariously inept spin.
Biden wanted MORE lockdowns. More closures. More mandates.
In other words, everything that didn't work'Slow Joe and his team of incompetents wanted more of it.

You and your patriot pals should be thrilled with the opportunity to pick all kinds of greenhouse grown produce in the winter, scads of procude from coast to coast spring/summer/fall in the open fields so it doesn't have to be imported from not-america.

You mean to say your neighbor did a poor job of retirement planning (very common among republicans, without the ability to think critically you make a lot of bad choices)
and now they want to blame somebody else (Joe Biden) for their failure.
Gotta love the GOP, the party of "my life sucks and its Joe Biden/Barrack Obama/George Soros/Immigrants/LGBTQ/MSNBC/AOC and or The Deepstate's fault not mine."
Sad.
PS EIGHT of the fake electors in Georgia have just been granted immunity deals. This is NOT good news for Donald Trump, but it's GREAT news for America. Tick tock.

Biden wanted MORE lockdowns. More closures. More mandates.Only in Cult World, not the real world.
A Fox News article on those statements [that the Biden administration planned lockdowns, closure, mandate]
was headlined: "White House won't rule out future lockdowns, school closures if CDC says so."
But in each case, the claims left out what the White House has affirmatively said on the matter: that it's doing what it can to promote vaccination and mask wearing in areas affected by the delta variant, to avoid the need for the lockdowns, shutdowns or school closures.
"We are not going back to that," President Joe Biden said in a July 27 statement.
Since then, Biden has repeatedly spoken against lockdowns and instead emphasized vaccination to stem the rise of the delta variant. And we found no evidence for Posobiec's claim that any such measures are being coordinated with, or advocated by, Democratic governors.Republicans learned nothing from the Dominion discovery documents and depositions. Fox News stars -- and analysts like Dan Bongino and Jack Posobiec -- are liars. Fox admitted it endorsed the false stolen-election claim for ratings despite actually believing the election was free and fair.
Fox lies.
And if you're a Fox viewer you're being lied to.
And what kind of idiots listen to -- and believe -- Bongino or Posobiec? Even Fox fired Bongino.

The elitist left does not have a clue of small town, USA and its people. They planned well for their retirement to live in relatively comfort. Their well funded 401k under the Trump years only to be devastated under a mere two years of Dark Brandon, their savings, perhaps a pension stretched to the brink to make ends meet paying for high food prices, utilities and other inflated cost of every day needs.
Small town retires do not have a son jetting all over the world making deals to give the 'Big Guy' a ten percent cut.

When president Biden took office, the DOW closed at 30,930. The DOW closed yesterday at 33,674. That's about an 8% gain.
Or we could use former president Trump's favorite measure of stock market performance and measure Biden's post-election stock market gains: 21%.
Devastating?
Okay.
In addition, the stock market made 123 all-time highs during the Obama years, 126 during the Trump years and 263 during the Clinton presidency.
The annualized return of the DOW was 12.1% and 15.9% for Obama and Clinton, respectively.
For Trump? 11.8%.
If stock market performance is your measure for a successful presidency, you want a democrat in the Oval Office.

The Dow bottomed on March 16,
2020. The Dow plummeted nearly 3,000 points to close at 20,188, losing 12.9%. The drop in stock prices was so massive that the New York Stock Exchange suspended trading several times during that week.
That was ten months before Biden took office.
During election week in November 2020, the Dow had recovered almost 8,000 points from its bottom and traded around 28,000.
If anyone reaped the benefits of the post-pandemic upswing it was Trump, not Biden.
Why do you persist with this magical thinking?
Really, it's alright to say the Biden economy is firing on all cylinders but that inflation remains an ongoing challenge (here and around the world).
And the data is clear: Biden is the best jobs creating president at this point in office in modern history.
And it had nothing to do with Trump. C'mon, he's been out of office for over two years.

Trump added $8 trillion in new debt in just 4 years! Most of which was given to Corporations and the wealthy.
Of course the market went up. If Biden wasted $8 trillion, the market would be higher. (After all massive debt was Reagans secret weapon!)
Far more important is...
Trump's job creation record is the worst of any American president on record,
no other modern president has left the U.S. with a smaller workforce than it had when they took office,
since the government started keeping track in 1939.
Historically the market does better under Democrats and its not even close...
