" We keep telling you but you refuse to believe it. Buffett does not manipulate Berkshire’s stock price. Ever. But he does communicate in a way that encourages and enables reasonably accurate calculations of intrinsic value, in the hope that price will not stray too far from value."
BTW, not to be redundant but I'll ask the same question, again. Can anyone name another public company in the past 50 years that initiated a buyback with a limit 10 percent above the current stock price? Followed by an update to the buyback limit another 10 percent above the current stock price or 1.2 xs BV? I'm surprised he didn't raise the buyback limit to 1.3xs BV, but he finally authorized buybacks at material discounts to IV, better late than never.
When you say, " WE " can you name another poster in the past 25 years who has ever questioned Buffett's moves or motives, who continues to participate in the debates here?
Also, there is a longer-term issue that concerns me, but I've run it by two older all stars who no longer post, let's see what they think, first, before I run it by the WE crowd of independent thinkers. Thank you.
