Overall, I satisfied with the job Biden has done. No one will ever do everything I want, so I don't expect that. But he got us a softer landing economically than any other nation, employment has surged (and the unemployment rate is near the lows of 6 years ago), he is helping Ukraine against our old adversary (the Soviet Union...under Putin, that's what it is).
Did he do some dumb stuff? Sure. I'm very disappointed that he pardoned Hunter (abuse of power...plus I don't agree with the pardon power, but that's a separate discussion). He went too far reversing the convict's border policies (though he did finally course-adjust to something more reasonable; still needs an overhaul, though). I approve of the commutation of death penalty cases just on principle**. I won't go too far into the weeds...overall, an above-average job, even if "average" is a pretty low bar.
**My father used to say "better 10 guilty men go free than one innocent person spend a day in jail". He wasn't that eloquent, plus a life-long Republican, so I'm sure he stole that quote from someone. In the case of capital punishment, there are no do-overs, and innocent people do get found guilty (MAGA insists that happened with the convict, ironically). Just in case we were wrong, we have to have a max of life w/o parole.
