In the Biden economy, the one that the Wall Street Corporatist Liberal is touting - the one that has strong numbers WITHOUT raising taxes "on the rich" and WITH Reagan Record Defense spending....
.... "people of color" as you paternalistically refer to them ..... do not partake in the same financial taxpayer funded carve outs that you do -- and you made sure of it and continue to, via culture and education.
However - some - are surpassing you by leaps and bounds and you can't stand it and it shows via immigration policies and other attitudes.
Anyhow, happy Juneteenth.
White professionals get a day off.
How fitting.

Juneteenth is a good day to remember:
Christians used the Bible as divine justification for slavery for centuries.
Particularly in America. How fitting...
Timothy 6:1-2 "All who are under the yoke of slavery should consider their masters worthy of full respect,
so that God's name and our teaching may not be slandered. Those who have believing masters should not show them disrespect.
Instead, they should serve them even better because their masters are dear to them as fellow believers and are devoted to the welfare[a] of their slaves."
Ephesians, 6:5-7
"Slaves, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling,
in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ."
Leviticus 25:44-46
"Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves.
You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country,
and they will become your property. You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life."
'Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.' ~Voltaire

Luckily, European colonizers and slave traders were defeated. Yes, Sons of Europeans did it in America and they were defeated too.
From Paris to Dublin to Berlin to Brussels.....
The world, and from within - its my hope people will not just 'take it' from Europeans any longer.
Better not to endorse any tactics - -- but, happy to refuse to condemn anything on this issue.

Also, apologists say "it was more like indentured servitude", even though it really wasn't. You omitted EX21, by the way. There were different rules for Hebrew vs non-Hebrew slaves, but it really wasn't much like indentured servitude (e.g. beating them as long as they didn't die within a few days, etc).
