Just for kicks, I looked at the plain old CPI-U numbers for 2024-04 compared to 2019-04, i.e. the latest five years of data that can be compared to your data. I normalized it, as you did, so that the 2024-04 index = 100. The number I got for 2019-04 is 81.5. Your number for 2019-04 is 84.831.

So over the latest five year period your measure of inflation differs from the one used by the Fed by about 3.3%, or about 0.66% per year, or well under 0.1% per month.

I don't see how such nit picking can make any difference in one's evaluation of stocks, markets, "true" inflation, or any other meaningful economic metric.
