most in denial.

" Democratic strategist James Carville ripped his party on Thursday for abandoning a contested primary election following former President Biden dropping out of the 2024 race.

Discussing a new book claiming former President Obama wanted Democrats to have a primary following Biden's exit, Carville declared that the party effectively killed any chance of victory. "

This was part of it. YES, a primary makes a better candidate.

Bill Bradley made Gore better.

McCain made Bush better candidate.

Hillary Obama.

And on and on.

BUT, I still say:

1.)Talking down to people

2.)TransBullies

3.)Illegal immigration (yes, last reason - not first reason)

Those 2 things did it. They did it not for 100% of the country, but they did it for enough people to flip the election.

I came here openly having voted Biden in 2020. I came here as an "I'm not voting in 2024".

I voted Trump in my swing county in my swing state.

Was there a few more like me in swing states?

Yep.

You can spit on that - and keep losing. OR in a "democracy" you could've easily brought some into the fold - to win.

It can *still* be done. And not a 50.1% win. A 55% win, and an environment where 7-10 Red Senators will work with a Democratic President - and you'll have reforms that last a half century.

It was easy.

It could still be.
