Note that MSFT fell off the ROE-Cash screen this week, similar to AMZN falling off last week. The LTD for the latest quarter, as reported by VL, jumped by $54B, from $40B to $94B. I don't know if this is a real jump or it's a change in the way VL calculates LTQ latest Qtr.

The more I dig, the less I can figure out about VL's methodology. MSFT ends its fiscal year on 6/30. All the annual financial figures for the company, as shown by VL, are currently still as of 6/30/24, even though the company released its latest annual report for FY25 on 7/30/25, and VL updated its Selection and Opinion page for MSFT on 8/1/25. So on that day they wrote a new essay about the company, but they didn't update any of the numbers. This week, a month after the annual report was published, they still haven't updated the annual numbers, but they did update "LTD latest Qtr" and I might presume other quarterly figures as well. But I can't find any correspondence between VL's quarterly figures and what's reported in the company's annual report.

Argh!
