So I was walking Willy the Pug - my dog and my little brother like I've done every morning for years and you can see my house from all the way down the road in our development so I noticed the mail guy doing his thing by the mailbox. I scrolled my phone for some steps but when I looked back up ---mail guy is STILL there and it's NOT the usual person that's done it for at least 2 years.

He's talking on his phone sort of loudly but all I could make out was he sounded a bit angry and he kept pointing the phone at my house.

So I'm walking slower in no hurry to get to my driveway and luckily I see him get back in the truck and drive to do the rest of the neighborhood I guess but I was still a little weirded out over him blabbing loud on his phone while he took my mail and then pointing his phone at my house.

Then I realized. OMG I only do bill pay online and don't write snail mail letter but I *DID* have my mail-in ballot in my mailbox so it gets sent out in time AND.....there's a Trump/Pence sign on my lawn - yeah I know a 2020 sign. I feel so gross. I have no proof but I'm wondering....was this mailman pointing his phone and taking a pic of my Trump sign? And who was he talking to angrily when he obviously saw he was taking a mail-in ballot from my mailbox?

I dunno. New mailman - all of a sudden at this time of year and he's all angry and taking pics of my Trump sign?

I hope these guys aren't sending Trump ballots into some shredder or just stashing them somewhere.

OK I don't even own a dog - I'm terrified of dogs always have been But I'm trying to shorten this a bit and maybe posting something like this....drip drip drip anywhere from Facebook articles to YouTube Comments on news-videos and local news websites will *help* your democracy and faith in elections.

Even if it 'helps' one person feel more 'at ease' - hey, it's just some copy and pasting and yeah I've got so many passwords and usernames on those sites it can be a PITA.

Any tips open shortening it or making it more believable?

Gotta make it a Trump/Vance sign *or* highlight the "mailman" taking a picture of the POW/MIA flag you were flying.

Ok the Pence thing I did just to add flavor, so the story isn't too perfect. But the POW thing---- ok that's good. Thanks.
