The complexities of today's world are pretty heavy, workmates, classmates, many never caught on to the early computer world, maybe couldn't afford it, but were left behind. My oldest brother, I gave him early Macs so they could deal with their medical provider, but he'd get all wound up in 'cleaning things up', leading a couple times to my having to spend the day, reinstalling the system, recovering what I could.. Terminology wasn't there, so trying to work over the phone was near impossible..
And now, our '23 RAV4 Limited hybrid, has all the bells n whistles, we're still discovering new things, forgetting others... No way I'd attempt to do any work on it, although there are videos out that do cover a lot of it...
Home LAN I assembled over the years, have a decent sketch, but really don't want to make any major changes as it would mean reconnecting TVs, thermostat, garage door opener, washer, dryer, drip system... I have spare old Apple Extreme WiFi routers if any fail, but so far rebooting brings everything up OK..
