I've now written over 13,000 lines of code using AI. A full machine learning stock investing tool with buy and sell criteria and historical back testing. I previously over many years had written a more primitive one but the AI version I have running is significantly more elaborate and user friendly than the old one. The 13,000 lines of AI assisted code took 20% the effort the old ~ 3 or 4 thousand line program required.
I liken the AI tools like a very fast and eager assistant that rushes off the do exactly what you tell it to, thinks it knows all the answers but often misjudges things. You have to test what it does but even then, you can tell it how you want to test it and off it goes faster than you could do the job.
